About This Horse
ShesRingFingerFancy represents something especially meaningful to the Ressler Ranch breeding program. Sired by Metallic Cattack and out of our late Sparkling Berrywine, she is one of just three daughters we are fortunate enough to have retained from the mare we considered the matriarch of our broodmare band.
Her sire, Metallic Cattack, brings an exciting combination of cutting and roping genetics. An NCHA Open Futurity Semifinalist and APHA World Champion Tie-Down Roping Horse, Metallic Cattack is a son of the legendary Metallic Cat, whose influence has been tremendous across the cutting, reined cow horse, and roping industries. His pedigree offers the athleticism, cow sense, and versatility we strive to incorporate into our program.
On the maternal side, ShesRingFingerFancy carries the influence of Jacs Electric Spark and Shining Spark, two names synonymous with Western performance excellence. Sparkling Berrywine was far more than a well-bred mare to us. She was a cornerstone of our horse program, a mare whose influence extended well beyond her pedigree. Her offspring have demonstrated the kind of versatility, disposition, and natural ability we believe make exceptional ranch and performance horses.
Losing Sparkling Berrywine in 2026 was an incredibly difficult loss for our program. However, having three daughters to carry her genetics forward is something we are deeply grateful for.
Our plans for ShesRingFingerFancy extend well beyond the broodmare pasture. We intend to send her into professional training and pursue competition in multiple incentive-eligible Western performance disciplines. With the cutting influence of Metallic Cat, the roping accomplishments of Metallic Cattack, and the reining genetics of her maternal family, we believe she has an exciting foundation for a competitive career.
Our goal is to develop her thoughtfully, allowing her individual talents to help determine which disciplines she pursues. We look forward to taking advantage of applicable incentive programs and futurity opportunities as she progresses through training. Ultimately, we hope to establish her own performance record before incorporating her into our broodmare program, adding another generation of demonstrated ability to this treasured maternal line.
Some bloodlines are valuable because of the champions behind them. Others become irreplaceable because of the horses you've known and loved. ShesRingFingerFancy is fortunate enough to represent both.
We are excited to see what her future holds, both in the performance arena and as a continuation of Sparkling Berrywine's legacy at Ressler Ranch.
