Lucy represents the kind of practical, performance-minded breeding that has always been important at Ressler Ranch. Sired by Playboys Blue Pine and out of Demke Gal 149, she carries traditional working Quarter Horse bloodlines with influences tracing to Playboys Buck Fever, Solito Badger, and Peppy San Badger.

Her pedigree reflects generations of horses bred for cattle work, athleticism, and versatility. The Peppy San Badger influence is particularly significant, as his descendants have made lasting contributions to cutting and other cow-horse disciplines.

Originally purchased as a riding horse, Lucy spent several years earning her place as a dependable ranch horse before joining our broodmare program. We place tremendous value on mares that have demonstrated their usefulness outside the breeding pasture, and Lucy represents exactly that philosophy. Her combination of working experience and cow-horse breeding makes her a valuable part of our program.
